FLORIDA "Clerbrook RV Golf Village" We've been here at Clerbrook RV Golf Village in Clermont FL for about 6 weeks, and are staying another month. They are a Passport America park, and let you do 2 weeks on PA, then "buy out" a 3rd week. If you move to another site within the park, you can do it over again another time, though we chose to go month-to-month because we wanted to get cable and cable internet hookup. That's right, the local Comcast cable folks will do month-to-month highspeed Internet, and the whole park is wired for it. Sweet! About 25 miles west of Orlando so it's out of the traffic but still an easy trip to all the attractions. Web site

FLORIDA " All Star RV Resort " If you're in Perdidio Key, Florida (Pensacola Area) try the All Star Resort just across the bridge on the gulf side of Perdido Key. The cleanest facilities we have ever seen, friendly staff and a waterfront park. The rates seem reasonable considering it is a 30 second walk to the beach. A must see for anyone. No Tents allowed though.

FLORIDA " THE LION COUNTRY KOA "IN WEST PALM BEACH FLORIDA IS NICE BECAUSE YOU GET TO CAMP NEXT TO THE LION PEN AT NIGHT AND HEAR THEM ROAR. THE PRESERVE AND CAMPGROUND IS ON SOUTHERN BLVD. WEST OF TOWN ABOUT 15 MILES.

FLORIDA "Acosta Creek Harbor"A small marina with a boatyard, guest accommodations and four RV sites in an "Old Florida" style setting. The RV sites are shaded by beautiful oak trees, and overlook the river, marina and boatyard. We provide full hookups, including cable TV, and the campground is pet friendly. MISSOURI "Mark Twain Cave Campground" For those of you that run from Chicago to Branson and points southwest of Missouri the Mark Twain Cave Campground http://www.marktwaincave.com/campground is a must. It is very clean, neat, and quiet. The prices are reasonable and the staff is very friendly. (573) 221-1656 is the number at the office. While you are in the area there is a lot of nice related Mark Twain things to do. There is a trolley company that services the campground so you can get to the historic district very easy. Take a ride on the riverboat, it is great. When going from Chicago to KC or southwest MO, bypass Saint Louis and the traffic by coming out I-72 to Hannibal and then southwest. The roads are good and the sites are plenty! Joe Desmond 82FC33SB Yankee Clipper

NEW YORK " J and J Campground" Upstate New York is full of campgrounds that only have grass sites so we were pleased to find this lovely park in Mexico NY. They are right off I 81 and have gravel sites with full hook ups including 50 amps. They are also open all year which is something for New York. The campground is on the outskirts of town so it's very peaceful. The rates for 50 amp service are $30 a night and they also have weekly and monthly rates. Your hosts and owners are Jeff and Jackie and Lady (a beautiful black lab) 315-963-1108 PicturePicture Picture Web Site

PENNSYLVANIA "Woodlawn Good Sam Campground" Anyone traveling on I 80 in PA in the Clearfield area (Exit 121 Near State College) and needs a full 50AMP open pull through, the Woodlawn Good Sam CG is great. Due to a project there, I have spent a lot of time with Dick and Dee Gheen at Woodlawn and recommend them. Even though they are not technically open all year someone is there most of the time and if it is below freezing you can get a full 50AMP hookup and dump facility. There number is 800/589-1674 or 814/857-5388. WISCONSION "Memory Lake Park" "A river runs through it" is a great way to describe this lovely setting. The village of Grantsburg WI runs a campground that has it all: full hookups, large sites, river fishing, and is in walking distance of the village itself. Very resonable rates and also seasonal rates. Great place to go in the summer. Picture Picture Picture
