1981 FC35 Wanderlodge 18,000 OBO. Would also trade or do partial trade for smaller newer rv or diesel truck. The engine has 5096 engine hours on it and 163,000 miles. Runs perfectly. Allison transmission w/Cat Diesel engine. Diesel generator in good shape with 1307 hours on it; 100 gallon freshwater holding tank; Large gray and blackwater tanks. Interior also in good shape. Propane line has a solenoid that needs replacing, Slide out for diesel generator is no longer automatic- we've used it for several years as it is-but if you are older or small you'd probably want to have it refurbished. No rust, but paint is just in fair condition. Full sized propane and electric refrigerator works well. Stovetop and oven are also in excellent shape. This RV has Central Vac- vacuum motor was replaced about 6 years ago and has not been heavily used. I believe it has a 200+ gallon fuel tank that is about 1/3 full. Gets 9 mpg even when towing a car or large trailer. Has full size bed in back cabin and the couch makes into a very comfortable queen size bed as well. The dining area will sleep two in a pinch, but is very comfortable for one person. Has three heaters that work when the bus is driving, two electric heaters, 3 propane heaters (the fan in one is losing a bearing), and a very cute wood stove. There are 4 seatbelts at the dining table, so six people can be buckled in at one time. There are two extra cargo compartments fastened to the bus top, which is completely covered with diamond plate & set up to carry substantial loads. Windows are all in excellent shape and the tires have less than 7,000 miles on them (and have lots of wear left). I have the original "Blue Box" with all manuals and diagrams for all bus systems. Our family really enjoyed this RV. I am only considering selling it because of divorce and I no longer have children with me during the winters, when I would typically vacation. Also, being an older RV, little things crop up from time to time that my ex husband always dealt with- but it's more than I want to handle on my own. It is a pretty big RV for a single person. I am going through it and fixing the little things that have cropped up since our last trip out and plan to travel in it this winter if I don't find a buyer. 1984 Wanderlodge PT36 Selling my pride and joy. This is a classic vintage Bird that has been well-kept over the years but I need to let it go to help finance a house addition. What I affectionately call the sports cars of Wanderlodges - most of this era's coaches are PT-40's and that few extra feet makes a difference. This shorter version has the silver 330 HP 6V-92 engine, Allison automatic transmission and a 3:36 rear end that allows it to really fly down the interstate. It's the fastest motorhome I've ever operated & the second Wanderlodge I've owned -she'll run 75 all day long. It is in overall excellent condition considering the age, has great tires, two new Carrier A/C units, no major body issues and is mechanically very sound. The bus starts easily and has no major leaks or other mechanical issues. The air system builds quickly and holds for days. All air bags are in good shape and hold for days as well. The radiator was recently rebuilt at great expense, so there are no cooling problems. Good Trojan batteries, two new IOTA chargers. A new power steering line was also installed at the same time as the radiator - 35 feet long, not cheap or easy. Kohler 12KW generator starts super easy and is clean as a pin. Both 50 and twin 30 Amp shore lines are there as are all other hookup equipment. Has an in-motion satellite that works great. Interior is in good shape, has the cool fold-out wing dining table in front and the smaller dinette in the kitchen. Also has the neat makeup vanity in the bedroom. Sunken shower stall allows a six foot guy to stand comfortably while showering. Queen bed in back with tons of storage throughout. New Sharp convection microwave, original Dometic fridge works on both gas and electric. Previous owner added electric color coordinated mirrors that are fantastic. Also swapped out the electric retractable curtains for custom day/night shades that give it a more modern coach look. All lights work, no tears or major issues with upholstery. Has the original and extensive Blue Bird manuals all intact with lots of service records. Bus has been stored either in garages or carports its entire life as you can see from the condition of the top and A/C units. All the Zip Dee awnings are intact and in great shape. Original underside tool box is there as are the jack and tire tools. Bus has not been molested or modified in any significant way. New Dupree Twis-Loc valves on the waste lines. I would be comfortable taking it anywhere. So what does it need? Normal TLC required of these coaches, the hydraulic leveling system has never worked since I owned it - although I never really tried. Has a crack in the left front windshield that hasn't grown in the two years I've owned it. Other Bird owners suggested leaving it alone so I've done so. 1978 Wanderlodge FC31 3208 Turbo Diesel with a stamped 250 horespower rating. The odometer shows 57,000 which would make me think it has that many miles on the new motor. But I do not have true Mileage. I have the Blue box with all the info from owners manual to service manuals on everything. 2 front couches that turn into a King bed. 2 beds in the back and the dinning table turns into a bed. 4 burner stove. As you can see in the pictures the motor home needs a few things such as the driver seat leather is coming apart. The couch on the driver side has a tear in it. This motor home needs some work, Refrigerator, water heater, 1 top A/C for sure, all tires are weather cracked. Onan gas generator needs the tank flushed but have tested generator and will run smooth with fresh gas. Coach is located in Palmdale, CA. 1973 FC31 Wanderlodge Powered by a 391A F Industrial Gas engine and an ALLISON MT40 six speed transmission. The Coach is equipped with a ONAN Emerald 5.5kw generator (with few hours) which will run the TWO roof air conditioners, the Microwave and the electric Hot Water Heater. The radiator was recently replaced with a 6 tube unit. This is the Side Bath model, containing the toilet, sink and shower. The bedroom is in the rear, and has Twin beds, as well as storage, and a nightstand. Across from the kitchen, there is a Dinette, which makes into a bed. Up front in the living area is a couch, which also converts to a bed. The TV is here, and the passenger seat swivels around to be part of the living area. The TV/VCR works off cable in most campgrounds, but, with the conversion to Digital, I suspect the crank-up antenna no longer works. There are two recently replaced Suburban propane heaters that keep the cold away. The Dometic Refidgerator also works off Propane, as well as 12V & 120V, and was also replaced. The tires and wheels were changed out about 3 years ago. The tires are TOYO 11X22.5 on Accuride aluminum wheels, like the 18 wheelers use. Brakes have just been redone, and all the steering tightened up. A "Steer Safe" is also installed. More storage is provided in the outside storage bays . Interior is OK, clean & free from rips, but is in the 70s colors.Although you will not get any speeding tickets, the coach cruises nicely at 60mph, (3000 rpm), towing our Jeep CJ. It averages 5 to 6 mpg, and we have taken it over Cajon Pass, The Grapevine, Soqualime in Washington & Raton in Colorado/N.Mexico. $14,500, or might trade for equil value in a late Jaguar XJ8, Harley, or similar... 1985 PT40 Wanderlodge 140,000 miles, all-original example that is in very nice shape and has been extremely well-kept. Reduced to $32,000. The carpets have been covered with factory carpet runners since new and the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen areas all look nearly unused, as does the refrigerator, freezer and dining area. It starts and runs as new. There are brand new batteries and the Diesel generator starts, runs and performs perfectly. The tires are in excelent condition. All of the controls seem to operate as they should, all of the gauges appear to be working correctly. It holds excellent air pressure at all times and is equipped with a full stereo system, CB radio,outside entertainment center. and dss satellite dish on roof. factory intercom system as well. This has been a one owner vehicle for the past ten years and was garage kept. It measures 40 feet in length, and is known as a "PT 40" which has the tag-axle in the rear and is a "Diesel Pusher" configuration.
