Coach has 134,000 miles on it with all of the usual Bluebird options. There are a few things that don't work, over the road air, musical horn gave up last year, and the bathroom electric heater; everything else works fine. 1977 35' Bluebird RV The current owner bought this bus new and drove it out of the BB factory. He used it as a school bus under private contract in PA for several years and then did the conversion. Not a Wanderlodge, but a well built RV on a BB platform. It has the 508 V8 N/A Cummins, Allison transmission, SS exhaust with exhaust brakes, similar performance to the N/A 3208 Cat, but with engine braking. 1982 FC35SB Bluebird Wanderlodge Bought Coach in 2006 and drove it from the dealer in Georgia back north to West Virginia with no problems. Has all the normal Wanderlodge goodies and is well optioned. I have almost completely remodeled the interior. Cockpit has new carpet, hardwood laminate in coach, carpet for bedroom (not installed), new laminate for bath (not installed). The exterior is in good shape other than the outdated colors. I just spent $2000 on the generator last year having the pump rebuilt and general maintenance. About 110k on coach and 4k on new dealer installed engine (see receipts for work below). Has Koni shocks, air bags, suspension rebuilt, new steering box, new steering wheel. I will install new batteries upon purchase. Needs an awning, tires (can buy local at good price), dump valve installed for waste tank (have parts and plumbing), gen air slide works when it wants to, rear curbside awning repaired (others are fine). I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 5 years ago and have lost my ambition and ability to apply the finishing touches. I purchased a couple acres along the river nearby and plan to camp there from now on. I'm not desparate for money so it won't sell for $1000 but I am willing to take a HUGE loss on what I have invested. I am willing to consider trades of relatively equal value. No boats, land, RVs. Heavy equipment, trucks, pickups, tractors, CUTs, considered but let me know if you have something else too. As always, a cash deal is ok too. All vehicles/tractors must be automatic/hydrostatic. 1997 Wanderlodge BMC 40' We have owned the '97 BMC 40' for five years and have complete books and records since that time. 1979 FC33 Side Bath Wanderlodge Moving up to a newer BMC coach. I’m hoping that the new Bird will be as good to me as this one has been in the 5-6 years I’ve had it. I believe that I’m the 3rd owner, as far as my Blue Box & records show. I would not hesitate to uncover the bus, hop in it tomorrow, and drive to Florida or Arizona w/o giving it a second thought. It appears that the bus spent most of it’s life in Georgia & Virginia, and has never been driven in the ice or snow. BLUEBIRD WANDERLODGE: 1973 FC 31'Powered by a 391A F Industrial Gas engine, and an ALLISON MT40 six speed transmission. The Coach is equipped with a ONAN Emerald 5.5kw generator (with few hours) which will run the TWO roof air conditioners, the Microwave and the electric Hot Water Heater. The radiator was recently replaced with a 6 tube unit. This is the Side Bath model, containing the toilet, sink and shower. The bedroom is in the rear, and has Twin beds, as well as storage, and a nightstand. Across from the kitchen, there is a Dinette, which makes into a bed. Up front in the living area is a couch, which also converts to a bed. The TV is here, and the passenger seat swivels around to be part of the living area. The TV/VCR works off cable in most campgrounds, but, with the conversion to Digital, I suspect the crank-up antenna no longer works. There are two recently replaced Suburban ropane heaters that keep the cold away. The Dometic Refidgerator also works off Propane, as well as 12V & 120V, and was also replaced. The tires and wheels were changed out about 3 years ago. The tires are TOYO 11X22.5 on Accuride aluminum wheels, like the 18 wheelers use. Brakes have just been redone, and all the steering tightened up. A "Steer Safe" is also installed. More storage is provided in the outside storage bays . Interior is OK, clean & free from rips, but is in the 70s colors.Although you will not get any speeding tickets, the coach cruises nicely at 60mph, (3000 rpm), towing our Jeep CJ. It averages 5 to 6 mpg, and we have taken it over Cajon Pass, The Grapevine, Soqualime in Washington & Raton in Colorado/N.Mexico. $14,500, or might trade for equil value in a late Jaguar XJ8, Harley, or similar... 1967 6V53 Detroit Diesel with an Allison Auto Trans I will say that it is in above average condition, only needing minor work to be real nice, it has new steer tires,(never been on the road yet), this was going to be my retirement home,but, injuries from a car accident make it too hard for me to finish it right, or too travel in the manner that I had planned. I am asking $7,500 for it, it could be driven anywhere right now. Brakes are great and all the lights seem to work, with the exception of some clearance lights, I think. 1988 Wanderlodge PT40 Widebody Very good overall condition. The front/dash ac does not work. The coach is very clean inside. We had it re-carpeted at Coach-Works in Columbus Georgia per the Wanderlodge factory recommendations about 3 years ago. We purchased the same carpet from the same place that the factory uses. It has a separate stackable washer/dryer (not combination unit) in the closet area next to pantry. All curtains and upholstery were re-done just before we purchased it 3 years ago, so everything still looks very good. We installed a new water heater in October of 2007, new belts and filters in November. We installed new Dometic refrigerator when we purchased it and had stainless panels made for it and the ice maker as well. New Moen designer series faucet with soap dispenser and sprayer. The coach has 108202k miles on it, 982.74 engine hours and 1385.1 generator hours. We just returned from a 7000 mile trip in the bus and everything is working well. 1985 PT40 Wanderlodge 140,000 miles, all-original example that is in very nice shape and has been extremely well-kept. The carpets have been covered with factory carpet runners since new and the bathroom, bedroom and kitchen areas all look nearly unused, as does the refrigerator, freezer and dining area. It starts and runs as new. There are brand new batteries and the Diesel generator starts, runs and performs perfectly. The tires are in excelent condition. All of the controls seem to operate as they should, all of the gauges appear to be working correctly. It holds excellent air pressure at all times and is equipped with a full stereo system, CB radio,outside entertainment center. and dss satellite dish on roof. factory intercom system as well.
